The 2006 card set contains 900 players, the 30 players most representative of each team during the season.

The 2006 "extra players" card set contains 343 players, compromising every player who played in the big leagues in 2005 and is not a part of the 30-man lineup in the regular card set.

In all, 1243 player cards--every 2006 big league ball player -- all symbols necessary for both board game versions are printed directly on the cards. A roster sheet that lists the most frequently used 30 players for each team and representative lineups is included with the 2006 basic card set.
