the Cardinals"
1982
saw Harvey Kuenn's power-laden Brewers, led by Hall-of-Famer and MVP Robin
Yount reach their first Series. The
Cardinals, however, playing Whitey-ball, and came back to take games six and
seven to win the World Championship.
The
1982 card set contains 650 players, the 25 players most representative of each
team during the season.
The
1982 "extra players" card set contains 287 players, compromising
every player who played in the big leagues in 1980 and is not a part of the
25-man lineup in the regular card set.
In all,
937 player cards--every 1982 big league ball player -- all symbols necessary
for both board game versions are printed directly on the cards. A roster sheet that lists the most
frequently used 25 players for each team and representative lineups is included
with the 1982 basic card set.
