1974 – "The A's Again"

The Oakland dynasty won it's third straight World Series. This time, the Dodgers played the foil. Two future Hall-of-Fame pitchers, Catfish Hunter and Rollie Fingers, had great seasons, and Reggie Jackson led the offense.

The Dodger's Mike Marshall appeared in 106 games in relief and won the Cy Young award.

The 1974 card set contains 600 players, the 25 players most representative of each team during the season.

The 1974 "extra players" card set contains 241 players, compromising every player who played in the big leagues in 1974 and is not a part of the 25-man lineup in the regular card set.

In all, 841 player cards--every 1974 big league ball player -- all symbols necessary for both board game versions are printed directly on the cards. A roster sheet that lists the most frequently used 25 players for each team and representative lineups is included with the 1974 basic card set.
