1904 – "Pilgrims win, Giants win, no Series"

The Boston Pilgrims took the American league, which had proven itself a "real" Major League by 1904. The Giants, under John McGraw and behind pitchers Christy Mathewson and Joe McGinnity, outpaced the rest of the NL by 13 Games. The American League was beginning to feature some star players and future legends as well; like Nap Lajoie and Jack Chesbro.

But, due mostly to personal animosities between the Giants owner and their manager and American League brass ... the World Series was not played. The Giants simply refused to participate.

This classic season has been designed to take full advantage of the SkeeterSoft Fielding and Pitching Systems and the SkeeterSoft (Staffa) Fan Boards.
